When you register with ConnectedSailors, you create your own profile. Your profile information, all your profile information is available for any other Internet user, who is the site's guest. All your profile information can be changed by you at any time you want.

• If you want to be totally private, why you need a profile on the public site?!
• Fill your profile only with the risk free information! Our profile system's fields include only overall information about the user, and no extra private things!
• Our service is made only for open individuals and we think that sailors are open people! And there is no limits in our mind! We want to share our own information and want others to do the same!
• Dont add intim, erotic or other private photos, videos, comments in way to stay private and clear on our site! Eveything is in your hands! No bad actions - no bad results!
• Our site's main core is available for registered users only! Public visitors cant view your profile, but every user can register with us and view your profile without any ristrictions. Keep your account accurate and good!
• Search engines index every blog action you made - every post, commnent! Also pinging service pings your blog on the top bookmarking sites like Technorati...

ConnectedSailors may contain links to other websites. We are of course not responsible for the privacy practices of other web sites. Look at the status bar of your browser, to see the outgoing links and maybe you will not go there! It's your choice! Generally we dont put any advertisement on our pages, but in some cases there will be some banner (-s) on our site.

Access and control over most personal information on ConnectedSailors is readily available through the profile editing tools. ConnectedSailors users may modify or delete any of their profile information instantly (thank to our advanced Ajax powered profile system) at any time by logging into their account. Information will be updated immediately. Individuals who wish to delete their ConnectedSailors account may do so on the My Profile page. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available to members of ConnectedSailors.

Where you make use of the communication features of the service to share information with other individuals on ConnectedSailors, however, (e.g., sending a personal message to another ConnectedSailors user, using the ShoutBox messages, comments...) you generally cannot remove such communications.

ConnectedSailors takes appropriate precautions to protect our users' information. Your account information is located on a secured servers behind a firewall. Our servers are located on the (mt) Media Temple, which uses the most advanced security systems.
